Geological Engineering Services
We take pride in providing engineering services to our ever-growing list of satisfied customers
We have assessed the stability of a significant number of slopes using ROSCIENCE, Slide 2D, PLAXIS 2D, and Settle 3D, and we have worked on hundreds of foundation design projects, designing suitable foundations for a given set of geological conditions, ranging from shallow to deep foundations.

Site Specific Investigation
For precise data in a designated area, Teragrail conducts Site-Specific Investigation Works. Our skilled team, comprising geotechnical engineers and engineering geologists, systematically examines the physical properties of soil, earthworks, and foundation in the proposed construction zone. This assessment gauges how underlying soil and site conditions may impact the structural integrity of the envisioned project.

Bearing Capacity and Pile Capacity Calculations
This uses different correlation formulas from SPT-N and other geotechnical investigation results, Teragrail can provide bearing capacity values for all types of shallow foundation.

Slope Stability Calculations
From Soil Slopes to Rock Slopes
Slope stability refers to the condition of inclined soil or rock slopes to withstand or undergo movement. The stability condition of slopes is a subject of study and research in soil mechanics, geotechnical engineering and engineering geology.
OUR PROCESS
We can provide both static and dynamic analysis, analytical or empirical methods to evaluate the stability of earth and rock fill dams, embankments, natural slopes and excavated slopes in soil and rock. Thus, whether it’s using principles in soil mechanics or rock mechanics, we can assess a soil slope or rock slope using your preferred method.
FEM Analysis for Slope & Settlement
Teragrail employs the Finite Element Method (FEM) to conduct in-depth slope stability analyses, ensuring a robust assessment of geological structures. This method involves the use of advance software such as Plaxis, a powerful tool that facilitates precise evaluations.
Liquefaction Analysis
Liquefaction is a phenomenon in which the strength and stiffness of a soil is reduced by earthquake shaking or rapid loading.
Detailed liquefaction analysis using multiple methods. This occurs in saturated soils where the space between individual particles is completely filled with water.
OUR PROCESS
Teragrail can provide you a complete analysis of liquefaction using qualitative (geomorphology) and quantitative methods by different authors.
Geological Mapping
The primary objective of geological field mapping is to identify the occurrence and extent of geological and structural features across an area.
This includes distribution of rock units, identification of soil type and composition and age relationship of major lithological units. Field mapping is the process of selecting an area of interest and identifying all the geological aspects with the purpose of preparing a detailed geological report.
OUR PROCESS
This is mainly broken down into three phases:
-
Literature Review and Planning
-
Fieldwork & Data Collection
-
Reporting
EGGAR
The Engineering Geological and Geohazard Report or more commonly referred to as the EGGAR.
This is an additional requirement for the issuance on an Environmental Compliance Certificate or ECC under the Presidential Decree No. 1586, Presidential Proclamation No. 2146 and its implementing rules and regulations where all proponents of subdivision development projects, housing projects and other land development and infrastructure projects, private or public, shall undertake an Engineering Geological and Geohazard Assessment.
